If you are interested in historic preservation, please consider volunteering to help the Heritage Commission. We are looking for help on special projects such as taking an Inventory of historic homes, helping with special events, and leading walking tours. Training is provided!

The Olympia Heritage Commission was established in 1983 to advise the City Council on matters related to the recognition, enhancement and continued use of buildings, sites, districts and objects of historical significance within the City and to serve as the City's primary resource in matters of history, historic planning, and preservation.
